Radilicious 2: THE VEGETAL GUIDEBOOK

Radilicious 2, the official book of the We’re Smart Green Guidehas just been published after the international success of its first edition. This monumental work brings together 20 of Europe’s most influential chefs – collectively awarded 100 radishes, the highest accolade for vegetable cuisine – and celebrates -collectively awarded 100 radishes, the highest recognition for vegetable cuisine- and celebrates the creativity and commitment of those who are transforming the future of gastronomy. The only Spanish restaurants present are FIERROby Carito Lourenço and Germán Carrizo in Valencia, and Tony García Espacio Gastronómico in Almeria.

FIERRO: ten years and a vegetable perspective

For FIERRO, the inclusion in Radilicious 2 coincides with a key moment: the restaurant’s tenth anniversary. In recent years, Carito Lourenço and Germán Carrizo have developed a vegetable line that reflects their commitment to sustainability, technique and culinary sensibility, as well as their own vegetable garden in Meliana, as an R&D&I laboratory from which many of their ideas are born.

In its current proposal, the vegetarian menus and alcohol-free pairings -made from vegetable products- are a sign of the future that the kitchen is already serving at FIERRO. That is why they were awarded with the DISCOVERY AWARDS 20024 by the We’re Smart Green Guide.
