Spanish gastronomy once again gathered at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid to celebrate the gala of the Macarfi Guide 2026one of the most influential gastronomic guides in the country. In this eleventh edition, the publication expands its presence to fifteen autonomous communities and consolidates its collective evaluation model based on more than 2,500 gastronomic ambassadors.
In this context of growth and national consolidation, FIERRO has been recognized as the 4th best restaurant of the Valencian Community within the TOP 15 regional TOP 15, positioning itself as one of the benchmarks of haute cuisine in Valencia.
A recognition that excites us, makes us responsible and encourages us to continue building our culinary identity based on exigency and coherence.
What is the Macarfi Guide and why is it relevant in Spanish gastronomy?
The Macarfi Guide was born in 2015 as a project focused on Barcelona and, eleven years later, it has become a national reference within the Spanish gastronomic sector.
Its uniqueness lies in its evaluation system: it is not a guide prepared by professional critics, but by more than 2,500 amateur experts and connoisseurs of the sector, called “ambassadors”, who independently and anonymously rate nearly 5,000 restaurants in Spain.
This model turns each recognition into a solid and transversal collective validation, based on the real experience of the diner.
